Terms of Use
Effective 9 June 2026
By downloading or using Sprout you agree to these terms. They're short and written to be read.
The one that matters most: Sprout is an information and record-keeping tool, not a medical device. Nap-window predictions, feed-interval suggestions, and pattern flags are estimates derived from what you log. They are not medical advice. For any concern about your child's health, sleep, or feeding, talk to a qualified healthcare professional.
The app
Sprout lets you track your child's sleep, feeds, diapers, growth, and milestones. Tracking is free. An optional subscription ("Sprout Plus") unlocks insights, charts, predictions, and full-resolution photo storage.
Subscriptions
- Sprout Plus is billed through your Apple ID via the App Store, monthly or yearly, at the price shown before you confirm.
- New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. The trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Apple handles all billing, refunds, and cancellation; we never see your payment details.
Your content
Everything you log — including photos — is yours. It lives on your device and in your private iCloud, as described in the Privacy Policy. We claim no rights over it and have no access to it.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the app, and don't use it in any way that breaks the law or Apple's App Store terms.
Backups and data loss
Sprout stores data locally and syncs via your iCloud account when available. We work hard on reliability, but you're responsible for keeping your device and iCloud account in good standing (signed in, with available storage). To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for data loss caused by device failure, iCloud configuration, or deletion you initiate.
Warranty and liability
Sprout is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above and noted in release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts — unless the consumer-protection law where you live gives you rights that can't be waived, in which case those apply.
